My favorite Instagram accounts
I would say that I genuinely enjoy Instagram. The consistency in media format and tendency to steer away from heavy subjects makes it a fun little escape every day. Though I follow almost 1,000 different accounts, there are some that are so good I can’t miss a single post. Here’s my list of my top 12 favorite Instagram accounts in no particular order.
Burma Adventure Cat
I follow a few adventure cats and plan on having one of my own. Burma and his human go to amazing places and are beasts at crossing rivers and climbing mountains.
Lauren Mae Celenza
Lauren is a friend of mine in Seattle and her mind mesmerizes me. She’s a graphic designer with a passion for data. She collects information and displays it visually in a way I’ve never seen before.
Rachel Brathen AKA Yoga Girl
A beautiful girl doing yoga in a beautiful place with a heart of gold. She focuses on sending uplifting messages, being as authentic as possible and using her fame for global good.
Adventure Cats Org
I’m a little obsessed with adventure cats and this is the motherload. They collect images of adventure cats and provide tips on how to raise your own.
I don’t have any tattoos yet but if I were to get one, it’d likely be one of Karima’s. She takes phrases written in Arabic and shapes the words into an image that represents its message.
Sometimes crude, almost always hilarious. This account is merely for a good chuckle as you scan through your list.
I can’t help but appreciate some serious talent. Maria has one of the trippiest accounts I’ve found. I can’t not look at her work!
Amanda the Baker
Her drool-inducing, food porn pictures are enough for me but the kicker are her captions. She gives you full permission to eat dessert first every day. My kind of woman!
I Draw on Cats
I’m still crossing my fingers that someday he’ll choose to draw on a photo of my girl, #LadyTobiko.
Romantic images of stunning landscapes are always welcome on my feed. Her images have an immediate calming effect that I can’t get enough of.

Dances with Circles
I follow a few hoopers but this one is my favorite. Her self-taught movement is so unique and I appreciate her stance on supporting other females.
By far one of my favorite accounts. He takes two unrelated objects and puts them together making a complete and intriguing image.
