Mama said knock your to-do list out!
If you’re a normal person, you have a never-ending to-do list. This list can be daunting, to say the least. When you’re finally in the mood/headspace to tackle the list, it’s natural to want to deal with all of them. But the best way to never get anything done, is to try to do multiple things at once. So, to actually get them off the list is to focus on the task at hand. Here’s how.

No. 1: Pick what you’re going to do.
Start with the most important task first so you have enough energy for it.
No. 2: Break it into smaller pieces.
If the task you’ve chosen is really a small project made up of many smaller tasks, break it up into bite sized pieces and tackle them one by one.
No. 3: Make it your only focus.
This time is designated for annihilating your to-do’s so treat it as such. Know that what you’re focused on is what you’re supposed to be focused on and bang it out.
No. 4: Check it off.
Once you finish, give yourself the gratification of literally checking it off the list. I swear, there’s a small dose of endorphins released at this moment.
